In this exhibition, 200 masterpieces from the Kyushu region including paintings, sculptures, and Important Cultural Properties of Japan will be on display, a first in Fukuoka. See up close a sacred Mandala painting showing heaven, a recently-discovered statue of Amithaba, ghastly depictions of hell and other valuable artworks which will be shown in public for the first time. Don\u2019t miss the animation by artist Kiyoshi Nakashima, \u201cJigoku Kokoronnezu\u201d (the heartbeat of hell) about a boy who went to hell.
