Furogu is known affectionately as \u201cOfurosan\u201d and welcomes over 150,000 guests during this exciting large-scale festival. The <em>shioi-mairi<\/em> and <em>goshinko<\/em> processions are some of the most eye-catching events. The <em>yabusame<\/em> (horseback archery) display also generates a great deal of interest.
