To celebrate, parades are held in Ireland and all over the world during the season on or around Mar. 17. Fukuoka has been celebrating St. Patrick\u2019s Day with a parade inside the Shintencho shopping arcade since 2014. Wear something green, the Irish color, or come in a fairy costume if you\u2019re feeling creative for the costume contest! See if you can find Fukuoka\u2019s fairy character, Grippi, there. You can receive a participation prize from the lucky draws, and 12 pairs who won the lottery will receive a 2-can Guinness set. There will be a pub crawl after the parade too. So soak up Irish culture with music and dance!<\/p>\n
