\u300c\u96c6\u5408\u753b\u50cf\u300d<\/p>\nFounded by the Buddist monk Giku in 1220, Daih\u014d\u2019onji, also known as \u2018Senbon Shakad\u014d\u2019, is a temple in Kyoto built during the Kamakura era and home to a number of masterworks of Buddhist sculpture. Holding the works of such prominent figures as Kaikei, Gy\u014dkai and Higo J\u014dkei, this exhibition marks the first time that the works of all three figures have been shown out of Daih\u014d\u2019onji together, and aims to give a glimpse into the artistic world of the generation of Keiha School Buddhist sculptors after Kaikei and Unkei. Kaikei\u2019s \u2018Ten Major Disciples of Buddha\u2019, Gy\u014dkai\u2019s \u2018Shaka Nyorai\u2019 and Higo J\u014dkei\u2019s \u2018Six Manifestations of Avalokitesvara\u2019 will all be on 360-degree displays, so feel free to peruse these culturally important properties at your own speed.<\/p>\n
