Since its inception in 1934 visitors have been able to experience the fun of the famous \u201cbanana auction\u201d (said to have originated at Moji Port), browse the flea market, and see local dances, bands and drum groups. Stick around for the festival\u2019s climax on Sunday, a Celebratory Parade with over 2,500 participants! Vessels from the Marine Self Defence Force and Japanese Coast Guard will also be open to the public on both days.<\/p>\n
