It is also an Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Fukuoka. One of the festival highlights is the <em>goshinyo<\/em> in which participants clad in historical costumes parade slowly carrying <em>mikoshi<\/em> (portable shrines), to the former residence of <em>enokisha<\/em> (<em>okudari no-gi<\/em>), staying overnight and then returning to the main shrine (<em>onobori no-gi<\/em>).
