The celebrations include the Miare Festival, which sees two ships carrying portable shrines sail across the harbor to the mainland. This year, only the Gozabune will depart, and a Shinto ritual will be held in which only the people concerned will attend. Takamiya Kannabi Festival, which concludes the Autumn Festival on the final day, is another eye-catching attraction that takes place on the final day in order to honor the three Munakata goddesses.
