On Oct. 24, watch as an ox-drawn carriage pulls an ornate <em>mikoshi<\/em> (portable shrine), as well as the parade of children wearing traditional <em>kimono<\/em> and <em>tachi-eboshi<\/em> (brimless headgear worn by court nobles), starting at Kushida Shrine and weaving around the Hakata area.
