On their 20th anniversary, enjoy over 300 items selected from the museum\u2019s collection of approximately 3,000 artwork as you travel through different regions in Asia and explore the past hundred years of Asian art. The first section features significant modern and contemporary art in East Asia, Southeast Asia, and South Asia including folk art in their local context, popular art borne from the streets and more. Most of the work can\u2019t be seen anywhere else but in FAAM. The second section, \u201cFukuoka in Asia\u201d, presents works created in Fukuoka by Asian artists.
