This will be Francois Chaignaud\u2019s third visit to Japan, but first ever performance at Kitakyushu. This collaboratively created stage by Francois Chaignaudand artist Nino Laisn\u00e9 evokes Virginia Woolf\u2019s novel \u201cOrlando\u201d with a transgender aristocrat youth protagonist. Francois Chaignaudhimself transforms both his appearance and identity as he transcends the concept of gender itself and performs his stunning song and dance solo.
