An exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of Kamen Rider is taking place in Fukuoka this Spring. The franchise began in 1971 when the first series was broadcast on television. All kinds of valuable items are currently on display, including special images created for this exhibition, props used for filming, and Kamen Rider’s hugely popular henshin (transformation) belt. The exhibition also features sections that explore the kaijin (villains) and the Shocker organization, an enemy group that plays a pivotal role throughout the story. The retrospective examines the world of Kamen Rider from various angles and delves into the enduring appeal of the title, which has spanned the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras.<\/p>\n
