The Hakataza Theater will present a Grand Kabuki performance in June. The matinee program will feature performances of \u201cHashi Benkei (<\/span>\u6a4b\u5f01\u6176<\/span><\/i>) \u201d and \u201c<\/span>The Heron Maiden (<\/span>\u9dfa\u5a18<\/span><\/i>) <\/span><\/a>\u201d, as well as \u201cSushiya (<\/span>\u3059\u3057\u5c4b<\/span><\/i>)\u201d, a famous scene from Gidayu Kyogen’s <\/span>Yoshitsune and the Thousand Cherry Trees (<\/span>\u7fa9\u7d4c\u5343\u672c\u685c<\/span><\/i>),<\/span><\/a>\u00a0 one of the three great masterpieces, performed by Kikugoro Onoe and others. The evening program includes “<\/span>Sogoro the Fishmonger (<\/span>\u9b5a\u5c4b\u5b97\u4e94\u90ce<\/span><\/i>)<\/span><\/a>” by Onoe Kikunosuke and “<\/span>Barrier Gate (<\/span>\u7a4d\u604b\u96ea\u95a2\u6249<\/span><\/i>)<\/span><\/a>” by Shikan Nakamura. One-act tickets (<\/span>hitomimaku-ken<\/span><\/i>), which allow the audience to see only one act of their favorite performance, will be available at the Hakataza ticket office from 10:00 on the day of the performance, with a limited number of seats available.<\/span><\/p>\n
