Experience the charm of Kyushu at a unique tourism and local product event taking place at the Hakata Station Plaza, the gateway to Kyushu. Alongside booths that offer travel information from all over Kyushu, there will also be presentations introducing tours around the three host cities of the upcoming “World Aquatics Masters Championships 2023 Kyushu Tournament” \u2013 Fukuoka City, Kumamoto City, and Kagoshima City \u2013 which kicks off on August 2nd.<\/p>\n

Indulge in local cuisine and shop at various booths featuring fresh local agricultural products like grapes, as well as food stalls selling local favorites such as ramen and yakitori. On stage, there will be a variety of performances including traditional dances by Hakata geishas, live painting by Fukuoka-based artists, street performers’ shows, piano and singing performances, and monkey shows – a form of traditional Japanese entertainment.<\/p>\n

The World Aquatic Championships, currently underway in Fukuoka, continue until July 30th. After which, the World Aquatics Masters Championships 2023 Kyushu Tournament will be held from August 2nd to 11th across Fukuoka, Kumamoto, and Kagoshima, drawing swimming enthusiasts from both Japan and abroad.<\/p>\n
