<\/p>\nThree energetic artists from Kyushu, who are active in Tokyo and internationally as photographers, painters, illustrators, models, and DJs, will hold a series of exhibitions from late summer to early autumn. The series kicks off with Hidemi Ogata, a photographer from Yamaga City, Kumamoto Prefecture. She, who has cultivated friendships with many artists, including Andy Warhol in New York, is greatly admired by celebrities worldwide for her swift artistic style and unparalleled ability to capture hidden charms in a snapshot.<\/p>\n
This event’s mastermind, Keiko Nasu from Fukuoka, is a popular artist who specializes in commercial illustrations for advertisements and magazines, acrylic artist portraits, and more. She also engages in abstract painting and music selection for radios and events and is a UK rock enthusiast.<\/p>\n
Also, from Kitakyushu is Yoko Ayukawa, who is noted as a fashion model. Being the eldest daughter of the rock band Sheena & the Rokkets and surrounded by art from a young age, her activities as a painter are also receiving attention.<\/p>\n
