The Mojiko Retro countdown, amidst a backdrop of historic architecture, offers free admission to all. Revelers at the Mojiko Retro Central Plaza can enjoy live music performances and the traditional ‘banana auction,’ a local specialty event. As the clock strikes midnight, the sky will light up with fireworks to herald the start of the New Year. The Mojiko Retro area is lit up from 17:30 to midnight, but on New Year’s Eve, it is illuminated until 5 o’clock the following morning with 300,000 lights, including historical buildings.<\/p>\n
