The annual spring pottery festival held in Hasami, the heartland of Hasami ware, takes place at the “Yakimono Park.” Around 150 stores, including manufacturers and kilns, participate, offering a wide range of ceramics from everyday items to traditional works at producer prices. Workshops such as pottery wheel experiences, casting, and painting are also held. A shuttle bus from the nearest JR “Arita” station to the venue operates every 15 minutes starting from 8:40 am (\u00a5500 \/ with a pass, unlimited use for the day, free for high school students and younger).<\/p>\n
