Mona Hatoum, a Palestinian artist based in London, is internationally recognized for her works that address universal themes such as gender and politics through various mediums, including performance, video, and installation. Her renowned piece \u201c+ and -\u201d which mechanically represents the processes of creation and destruction, was first exhibited in Fukuoka in 1994 and will now be permanently installed at the Fukuoka Art Museum.<\/p>\n

To commemorate this, a talk event in English by the artist herself will be held, with consecutive interpretation in Japanese. Don\u2019t miss this rare opportunity to hear from the artist in person.<\/p>\n
