<\/p>\nTakako Takeuchi, a contemporary artist from Fukuoka now based in Sweden, explores the theme of musubi\u2014a traditional Japanese concept of connection\u2014through textile-based works. Recently, she has expanded into painting, creating mixed media pieces with acrylics and gold threads inspired by the fleeting beauty of natural light in Sweden.<\/p>\n
Takeuchi will showcase ten new works and a small installation at “Maebaru Art & Book Street 2024: Encounters,” a cultural event held in the Maebaru area of Itoshima. Additionally, she will participate in an artist talk on November 23 at 4:00 PM at the Open Community Space Minnano, a short walk from the exhibition venue. No reservations are required for the talk.<\/p>\n
