A special tribute performance will be held in honor of Ryuichi Sakamoto, featuring renowned sound maker Goro Ito, cellist Jaques Morelenbaum, and vocalist Paula Morelenbaum. Connected through their shared bond with Brazilian music and Sakamoto, these artists celebrate his legacy through this performance. Hailing from Rio de Janeiro, Jaques and Paula\u2014a charismatic bossa nova singer\u2014traveled the world with Sakamoto, collaborating on stages across the globe. It was Sakamoto who introduced Goro Ito, a composer and bossa nova guitarist, to the Morelenbaums. Together, they will perform a selection of Sakamoto’s iconic works and pieces they co-created, accompanied by a diverse group of musicians.<\/p>\n
