<\/p>\nA cultural exchange event where Sri Lankans and Japanese residents of Kyushu come together to enjoy food, music, and dance. Over three days, visitors can experience Sri Lankan culture in Fukuoka through traditional cuisine, performances of dance and music by Sri Lankan students, and a market featuring Sri Lankan herbs, spices, and other specialty products.
\nThe theme of the event is \u201cAyubowan,\u201d a common Sri Lankan greeting that means \u201clong life.\u201d Often used with palms pressed together, it can be used in many situations\u2014from saying hello and goodbye to expressing gratitude.<\/p>\n
