This year, eight actors including Nakamura Kankuro and Nakamura Shichinosuke\u2014both returning to Hakataza after seven years\u2014will take part. Departing from Seiryu Park around 2:30 PM, the boat procession will move slowly down the Hakata River accompanied by festive music, Kabuki chants, falling confetti, and Hakata geisha.
