An immersive exhibition of ukiyo-e masterpieces\u2014timeless works that continue to captivate audiences across generations\u2014will be held at JR Hakata City.<\/p>\n

Featuring over 300 pieces by iconic artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro, T\u014dsh\u016bsai Sharaku, and Utagawa Kunisada, the exhibition reimagines these classic prints through 3DCG animation and projection mapping. Visitors can experience the world of ukiyo-e in a dynamic, multi-sensory environment that brings the art to life in three dimensions.<\/p>\n

The exhibition is divided into nine themed zones. In addition to digital installations, original Edo-period prints and reproductions will be on display, along with informative panels that explore the history of ukiyo-e, the cultural backdrop of the Edo period, and the lives of the artists.<\/p>\n
