To pass on the memory of this air raid to future generations, the Fukuoka City Museum has held an annual special exhibition around June 19, designated as “Fukuoka Air Raid Day,” since its opening.

This year marks two milestones—100 years since the start of the Shōwa era and 80 years since the end of the war. The exhibition features 150 photographs and artifacts from the Shōwa period, spanning from its beginning to the postwar reconstruction era.
