The event begins with a formal parade of firefighters and volunteer brigades, followed by traditional ladder stunts and matoi flag twirling to ring in the New Year. A highlight is the dramatic simultaneous water discharge toward Hakata Bay\u2014towering water jets that create a spectacular and dynamic scene.
\nThe program also features a rescue drill by the special rescue team and a performance by the fire department band, offering an up-close look at real emergency skills. From 12:50, hands-on activities begin, including fire truck rides, rescue experience zones, and a lottery-based ladder truck ride\u2014all popular with families. There will also be a disaster preparedness quiz with local hero group Dogengers, and interactive booths with Fukuoka pro sports teams Rizing Zephyr and Kyuden Voltex.<\/p>\n
