The Embassy of Canada and Venture Caf\u00e9 Fukuoka present a special session spotlighting Canadian AI startups\u2014alumni of the Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) Japan program\u2014that have successfully entered the Japanese market. As Canada continues to lead globally in AI innovation, the event will showcase examples of collaboration with Japanese companies and explore the strengths of Canada\u2019s innovation ecosystem.<\/span><\/p>\n

The panel session will be facilitated by Alex Odajima (\u5c0f\u7530\u5d8b Alex \u592a\u8f14), CEO of Edge of Innovation and a specialist in global startup ecosystems. Drawing on his international experience, Odajima will guide a discussion featuring perspectives from startups, support organizations, and government representatives. Topics include Canada\u2019s appeal as a co\u2011creation partner, strategies for fostering Japan\u2013Canada startup collaboration, and how to generate new business opportunities through cross-border partnerships.<\/span><\/p>\n

A networking reception will follow, offering a relaxed space to connect with others interested in Canada\u2019s innovation landscape, including long-time supporters of the Embassy\u2019s Fukuoka Trade Office.<\/span><\/p>\n
