Ruta Slivkiene is a Lithuania-born artist based in Japan whose oil paintings explore themes of memory, labor, tenderness, grief, and domestic life. Using layered brushwork and recurring motifs such as mountains, hands, and household objects, her work reflects the texture of lived experience and emotional memory.<\/p>\n
