Established in 2009 to revive the area&#8217;s musical heritage\u2014when dance halls and cabarets regularly featured live performances\u2014the festival has grown into one of Japan&#8217;s largest free urban jazz events.<\/p>\n<p>Centered around Nakasu Odori, multiple outdoor stages present an eclectic lineup spanning jazz, funk, soul, pop, and more.
