<\/p>\nKyushu Rainbow Pride 2026 offers two days to meet, learn and take part in activities celebrating diverse identities and ways of living. LGBTQ+ people, families, children, companies, public institutions and educators all come together for a program designed to encourage understanding, connection and participation. This year\u2019s theme is \u201cThat One Step Gives You Strength to Live \u2014 You May Just Learn to Like Who You Are.\u201d<\/p>\n
In 2026, the event moves to the Kihinkan area of Tenjin Central Park. Planned activities include a kids\u2019 area where children can encounter ideas about diversity through play, a \u201cHuman Library\u201d featuring first-hand stories and experiences from LGBTQ+ participants, programs introducing Aro\/Ace and nonbinary identities, and a photo booth.<\/p>\n
Accessibility is also a key part of the event, with sign-language interpretation, written communication support, multilingual assistance and livestreaming planned for those attending in person as well as people who may find it difficult to visit the venue.<\/p>\n
The Pride Parade takes place from 14:00 on Oct 18, 2026. Under the banner \u201cHappy Pride,\u201d participants will walk through the city in their own way, sharing a message of greater acceptance and a society where everyone can live more openly and comfortably.<\/p>\n
