For this eight-day event, 57 venues in and around the neighborhood each offer a \u00a5700 \u201cHare-zake Set\u201d: a 60 ml serving of sake from a Fukuoka Prefecture brewery, paired with a dish created to complement it.<\/p>\n<p>The idea is \u201chashigo-zake\u201d\u2014hopping from one drinking spot to the next. Lanterns mark participating venues, making it easy to explore on foot. To take part, visitors must purchase a participation kit in advance, which includes an original sake cup, a stamp card, and a drawstring pouch.<\/p>\n<p>The lineup spans Japanese cuisine, motsunabe, yakitori, Chinese and Italian food, and kakuuchi\u2014liquor shops where customers can drink on the premises.
