Honwakashu is a group of <em>wakadanna<\/em> (young masters) of traditional <em>wagashi<\/em> (Japanese sweet) shops aiming to bring more energy, fun and experimentation to the world of Japanese confectionery. Using traditional techniques, they craft previously unseen <em>wagashi<\/em>. Approximately ten shops will be participating, including shops from as far as Kyoto, Mie and Gifu Prefecture.
