<\/p>\n2016 is the year of the monkey! Fukuoka City Zoo will have fun and exciting events in store this New Years, starting on Jan. 2 and held all throughout the month. The Zoo has prepared events themed along with monkeys such as a Japanese monkey guide and display for visitors to enjoy. The New Year\u2019s raffle, especially, is a popular annual event. The winner of this year\u2019s first prize will get to high-five Ren the monkey! Second prize winner will have naming rights to two angus pheasants, and third prize will be deer antlers! Tickets to enter the raffle will be distributed at the main entrance from 9:00 on a first-come, first-served basis, with 600 tickets available.<\/p>\n
