Go <em>haze<\/em> picking! <em>Haze<\/em> is used to create wax, but the number of <em>chigiriko<\/em> (people who pick the wax fruits) is decreasing. To invigorate interest in this pastime, two special <em>haze<\/em> picking events are going to be held, one in Yame and one in Ukiha. Participants in this picking event will receive a Japanese wax candle at the end, as well as a \u201c<em>chigiriko<\/em> certification\u201d. Make sure to wear some clothes you don\u2019t mind getting a little dirty, and to bring some <em>gunte<\/em> (cotton work gloves).
