Throughout her 30 years of life, Shoko has been consistently inspired by the works of Misuzu Kaneko, a famous Japanese writer who wrote heartfelt poetry in the 1920s. (Shoko’s mother, whilst pregnant with her, was struck by the beauty of Misuzu Kaneko’s works and filled their house with them.) Now Shoko Kanazawa is hosting a show which expresses how Misuzu’s works have always inspired her calligraphy. If you want to see this beautiful and moving exhibition, Fukuoka Now has 6 pairs of tickets to give away!
