On Dec. 12, snow began to fall in the center of Tenjin, as snow making machines were turned on in front to Fukuoka City Hall to build up a base of fluffy white stuff. A 30m x 20m snowfield with 30 cm of depth will be made to serve as a big playground for people of all ages to enjoy. Snow huts, slides and snowball fight areas will be created too.
