\u2022 Nov. 23 (Sun.) To commemorate the opening of the Higashi (East) Kyushu expressway between Yukuhashi and Miyako, a marathon and a walking event will be held. Applications for the marathon began on Sep. 1, and will be closed as soon as the maximum number of participants has been reached. The marathon will include three courses, 3km (500 participants), 5km (500 participants), and 10 miles (approximatively 16 km, 1,500 participants).
