In anticipation of this year\u2019s Hakata Gion Yamakasa festival, the Fukuoka Open Top Bus is operating a special free Yamakasa route on July 13. Hop on the sightseeing bus in front of Fukuoka Central Post Office in Tenjin and take a one-hour tour passing by decorative kazariyama<\/em> floats, which are displayed around the city for Yamakasa. Bus departs 10:30am 11:00am. Passengers can ride the limited route for free, providing they show up in a yukata<\/em>. Apply by postcard or email by July 6. If applications exceed capacity, passengers will be chosen by draft. For more information, call Nishitetsu on (0570) 001010, or visit the website below.
