Every year it attracts a large crowd of people especially in the Tenjin area.  \u201cJyoumon\u201d means high quality in Hakata dialect \u2013 and as such, the participating sellers promise to provide local buyers with the highest quality food products. On top of fresh vegetables, the market offers warm, homemade butajiru, sweet potato made from Nokonoshima, and even some tasty yakisoba available at the stands. Sweet tooths will enjoy the cakes with Hakata Amaou strawberries!
