Japanese people eat a special selection of dishes during the New Year celebration called osechi-ry\u014dri, typically shortened to osechi. In this event, you\u2019ll learn how to prepare the special dishes, and understand special meanings of each dish\u2019s ingredients &#8211; such as good health, good harvest, happiness, prosperity, long life etc. The workshop is run in English and Japanese by instructor Kiyomi Mitumizo. No pork or beef used, however chicken and fish will be used.
