TED, a non-profit organization devoted to \u201cIdeas Worth Spreading\u201d, aims to engage people across the world using video technology with locally-organized events to create a space for deep discussion. TEDxFukuoka aims to contribute to strengthening Fukuoka\u2019s cultural atmosphere by creating an united environment to explore this year\u2019s theme of \u201cThe Space Between\u201d, aiming to identify the areas where women seek greater understanding and compromise.The first half of the event is a live screening of the TEDxWomen conference in Washington, followed by a discussion. The second half is a series of presentations from local speakers, including Yukari Murayama, the Director of the Fukuoka Gender Equality Centre, on the theme \u201cAmbitions\u201d.
