The annual \u2018Flower Picnic\u2019 takes place between March 26 ~ May 8; on weekends, there are various activities such as animal-petting, craft workshops and brass and concerts. From Apr. 29 (Fri., Hol.) to May 1 (Sun.), 10:00~17:00, a special gourmet event, called \u201cC-1 Cup in Uminaka\u201d, will take place: food vendors sell various tasty treats, and the best food vendor wins a prize. SPECIAL! Visit during Golden Week on May 1 and 4 for free entry (regular entry fee: Adult \u00a5410, Child (JHS\/ES) \u00a580). On May 5, only junior high school students and younger can enter for free (regular entry fee: \u00a580).<\/p>\n
