Tachiarai is located in the middle of Chikugo-heiya, which is well-known for its seasonal vegetables. At this festival you can enjoy Tachiarai-grown <em>edamame<\/em> and Kirin beer made from Tachiarai-grown wheat. As well as freshly picked <em>edamame<\/em>, there will be lots of beer-friendly foods at this festival, with booths selling many bean and tofu-based dishes, as well as kebabs, <em>karaage<\/em>, <em>yakitori<\/em>, <em>sushi<\/em>, <em>yakisoba<\/em>, ice cream and more. There\u2019ll also be plenty of local specialties to try. Why not try the Kakiuma Roll &#8211; oyster and horse meat wrapped in mustard leaf? There will be plenty of events to keep festival-goers entertained, including dances. This is a great opportunity to dress in traditional Japanese summer attire, such as <em>yukata<\/em>.
