<\/p>\nPlay ball! The Mazda All-Star Game NPB 2016 is coming to Fukuoka (which only happens once every five or six years). There will be two games, and the first of these will take place at the Yahuoku! Dome (the second will take place in Yokohama). Players from the Pacific League (selected from the SoftBank Hawks, Nippon Ham Fighters, Lotte Marines, Rakuten Eagles, Seibu Lions and Orix Buffaloes) will take on players from the Central League (from the Hiroshima Carps, Yomiuri Giants, Yokohama DeNA Baystars, Chunichi Dragons, Hanshin Tigers and Yakult Swallows). The starting pitchers (decided by vote) are Wada (SoftBank Hawks) for the Pacific League team, and Sugano (Yomiuri Giants) for the Central League team. The player who received the most votes overall (i.e., whom baseball fans were most eager to see participate in the all-star game) is Yanagita of the SoftBank Hawks. The SoftBank Hawks are currently in first place in the Pacific League. Let\u2019s hope they lead the Pacific League to victory!<\/p>\n
