From early Jan. until the end of Feb. you can enjoy beautiful winter peonies at Hakozakigu after praying at the shrine. The flower garden in Hakozakigu opened in Apr. 1987 to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the Hakozaki Grand Tea Ceremony held by Toyotomi Hideyoshi in 1587. The garden has flowers for all seasons! <\/p>\n
