The governor will be hospitalized for approximately two weeks, but the treatment is scheduled to be completed quickly and it is expected to have a minimal impact on public service. The upcoming prefectural assembly is scheduled for September 11, which falls during the governor\u2019s hospitalization. Reconstruction efforts in areas hit by July\u2019s heavy rainfall will be discussed and a revised budget is set to be put forward.
