(TSR) recently published findings from a survey on the most popular place to live for company presidents. TSR drew from a database of approximately 2.97 million individuals connected to businesses and analysed the living arrangements of company heads. Akasaka, Minato-ku (Tokyo) topped the rankings with 2,488 presidents currently residing in the area. One of the places to rank highest outside of Tokyo was Nakagawa-machi, Chikushi-gun in Fukuoka Prefecture, where 1,073 presidents are currently living. It has been suggested that the location’s beautiful natural surroundings, coupled with the access it provides to the center of Fukuoka has made Nakagawa-machi an ideal commuter town. Shime-machi was also a popular choice amongst company heads, with 919 choosing the area in Kasuya-gun as their base. Shime-machi’s popularity was attributed to the access it provides to the airport and central Fukuoka. Source: Tokyo Shoko Research, Ltd., 11/8/2017

Photo for image purpose only.
