The company acquired a residential property in Bangkok, Thailand on Dec. 20 for approximately \u00a510 billion. The set of serviced apartments stretches across two buildings (32-storey and 27-storey) which will meet the needs of longer term visitors to the area, specifically people on business. Named \u201cSomerset Lake Point Bangkok\u201d, the apartments have a total of 429 rooms as well as a shared pool and gym. Prior to the takeover, JR Kyushu Business Development (Thailand) was set up in November with a capital of 375 million baht (approximately \u00a51.3 billion).
