The two-day festival will be held at the Fukuoka Kokusai Center, and promises to bring together some of the best local <em>sake<\/em> and <em>shochu<\/em>. A total of 55 breweries and 30 restaurants are scheduled to participate at the event, which until now has been known as the Fukusake Matsuri. Visitors will be able to sample a range of alcoholic beverages including <em>sake<\/em>, <em>shochu<\/em>, <em>umeshu<\/em>, and <em>amazake<\/em>. Dishes from Chinese restaurant Fuxinlou, Mizutaki specialist Toriden, and fine French food eatery La Maison de la Nature Goh are just a few of the restaurants that will appear. Organizers hope this event will attract upwards of 10,000 persons and become one of the top three annual <em>sake<\/em> events in all of Japan and welcome visitors from overseas to attend as well.
