Fukuoka City introduced the Startup Visa as one of the strategic special zone initiatives to attract overseas entrepreneurs. Comparing to acquiring traditional \u201cBusiness Manager\u201d visa through the Immigration Bureau, the Startup Visa has fewer prerequisites for the foreign entrepreneurs who want to start a business in Japan. The proposition was made reflecting the feedback from those who used the system in Fukuoka.
