On Mar. 4, the Japan Volleyball Association announced that 24 men\u2019s and women\u2019s teams will compete at the games held in Japan. Fukuoka City will host games along with Hiroshima City for the male round-robin tournament between Oct. 1 to 15 inside Marine Messe. Women\u2019s games will be held prior to men\u2019s games between Sep. 14 to 29 at venues in the cities of Yokohama, Sapporo, and others.
