The original plan included a \u00a550 million pre-research budget for the ropeway construction as proposed by Mayor Takashima. However, a group of LDP assembly members expressed concerns about the plan. It remains to be seen if the mayor will seek reconsideration of the matter or not. This might be the first time in over thirty years for the original budget plan by the executive to be amended before being fixed.
